Can you record from an mp3 playing dvd player to minidisc?

As it says in the title, can I record from a dvd player playing a mp3 cd to a mini disc recorder to play on a normal minidisc player?

I've recorded a cd to md using the audio outs (and optical out) from my dvd player and it worked, can't see why it won't for mp3 cd's. Give it a try :)

Thanks kcxdev, I'm not getting the dvd player until tommorrow (yeah!!!! sis cya tommorrow) I'm dvd playerless at the moment since taking back my 2nd ps2 last month (hasnt stopped me spending money on dvds though). I have recorded audio cds on the ps2 to minidisc via optical out, just wondered whether mp3s will record to minidisc. Will have to wait until tomorrow to find out. I have had to wait for ages for new dvdplayer because I'm getting a davs-800 and nobody has got any in and sony wont be getting any delivered until in January:( Cant wait for my new system:clap:
