today im going out to look for an amp,ive been looking at the sony STRDE875 basically because the rest of my kit is sony,although bappapa said the marantz sr4200/yamaha620 are compareable...basically ive got £500 to spend,i dont mind getting a sub at a later date,what speakers can i get for £200 im well aware that some peeps pay that for a centre..richers do a set of 5 Gale for £120,but what these are like i dont know..any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.:)

All i can say is don't buy cheap nasty speakers as you will regret it in the long run.
The only one who can tell if speakers are any good is you.
nearly 40 reads and one reply i know i have to hear them myself..
but can any one recommend any speakers,i have been looking at missions,can you use floorstanders for the rear and bookshelf types for the front as i dont have room for floor standers at the front,also what is the M7c1 centre speaker like,anyone have it..

I have the kef Q series 55s fronts,95 centre and 15s rears, They are good value if you look in some of the adverts in what hifi, and they sound superb with my pioneer amp, But listen befor you buy
