Hi all

Another new question how do i adjust my virtual memory as the pc says its low?

All help greatly appreciated :thumbs:

There should be a way of resetting your BIOS. This will put it back to factory (default) settings. This should be in your manual. Normally there is a jumper on the motherboard you have to set.

Whats your motherboard make and model?

Thanks very much for the help dude :thumbs: after you said that i rememberd if i removed the battery from the mb it would do the same and have no managed to boot it up :) no more medalling in the bios for me :doh:

How much real memory do you have? If you've Win2000 or XP, it should handle it automatically. Are you letting it handle itself?
What game / program are you trying to run?

System properties;advance;performance settings;advanced. Alter it under the change tab. :shrug:

It just came up with a balloon saying virtual memory is running low :(

but it's currently allocated 507mb :shrug:

not necessarily as my setting is custom with an initial value of 150% of physical memory (or mebbe thats 50% and the value is sum total) and max of 200% and I didn't set that it was set by the xp installation.
Check the value in systems properties etc etc as mentioned by Toad
