Reminder from April 11th VM moves to Tuesdays

Well I felt robbed that the cliffhanger from 2x14 was completely glossed over with only a brief conversation the next day

However the rest of the episode was the usual brilliance that we've come to expect from the 2nd half of S2. A nice return of the drug dealer ex, hinting at a future goodness in S3, also we've got Wallace now going to Hearst, one future plotline for S3, which may well have 3 mysteries each taking 1/3 of the season to play out in as an aid to maintaining tension and speed in the plot and allowing for viewers to join mid season without being completely lost in the byzantine plots a season long arc develops. We've also established one enemy for V. allready. As Wallace reminds our hero it will be just like home. Its nice how they've got everybody wanting V. to go to Hearst except V. herself, she continues to resist what we all know is inevitable. The only thing still to be decide is just how they're going to lever Logan into a Hearst based S3.

Bad boys: Cliffie and Deputy Lamb, Wallace chasing after a couple of girls at the party, guess it aint tru wuv with Jane then.

Poor Logan: uses girl, dumps girl, misses girl, makes up to girl, loses girl to boarding school on the east coast. Though I for one thought the approaching feet belonged to Fitzpatrick goons about to exact their revenge on Dr Griffith. Was surpised by the reveal. Also Logan realises he wants more than to be a carefree guy playing video games with friends like Dick (who yet again has a brilliant logo on his T shirt)

This was V first reference to her nonRape this season.

I'm thinking she's getting too free with her taser, felony assault = community soap.

A very funny episode with a cool lighthearted investigation by Keith/Cliff.

Logan likes Hannah but they aint to be.

Ronnie does her biz in Hearst. Like you say, she has to end up there but I do like the way they're playing with the obviousness of her going there by having her try everything she can to leave :)

Well, she impressed one member of Hearst's academic staff when she was on Jury duty and now she's made a big hit with the student dean.

What's the betting she is going to lose out on the Kane scholarship and end up having to go to Hearst. You know she'll have to follow Wallace, she needs a accomplice.

Please let there be a S3.

Edit: according to a US based BB V. would have no problem finding grants to cover her tuition, something I guess the writers will have to ignore.

We [Rob Thomas & Co] pitched the idea to the network yesterday and they're pretty excited about it. In fact, Dawn Ostroff* got her head of scheduling on the call, and we discussed the possibility of each BIG MYSTERY airing uninterrupted by preemptions or repeats. That way we'd never lose momentum. Each BIG MYSTERY would be told without any weeks off.* boss of CW

All makes the chances of a S3 look more likely even given the crappy ratings.

Alia Shawkat and Michael Cera. Yay!

Hopefully if Veronica ends up in Hearst we'll see more of them in season 3. I do like the way the Hearst thing has been slipped in over the season, to avoid a shark-jumping massive change of setting; this way it'll seem totally convincing.

Good ep, as usual; did I just miss it or did we not get a real resolution to the mystery of the week?

Superb the way they are properly setting up future events with Hearst. The biggest hiccup in series like this is always that year when the kids go off to college and everything changes.
Very odd (but a nice surprise) to see Maeby and George-Micheal as college students! Would be awesome if they became regulars next season!

LOVED the "...and so it's now time for me to clinch that Emmy nomination" scene! :D

The rapist was never found. I took this episode to be more about Troy and suspect that next season when Ronnie is at Hearst the rapist reappears....

Good ep, as usual; did I just miss it or did we not get a real resolution to the mystery of the week?Veronica was also only asked by Troy to get him off the hook. Which she did. So the MOTW was solved even if the rapist is yet to be discovered.

I had an uneasy feeling they were going to reveal Michael Cera's character as the rapist! Maybe they are saving that for if those new characters return? Way to mess with the heads of AD fans though! The sexual weirdness and unease between those two on that show was almost too much to take, would be very clever to spin it into a new even more disturbing direction with the same actors! :D

There's a rumour that the main arc of series 3 will be finding out who the rapist is...
