Does anyone know of a hack for multi region, for the Toshiba SD210E ?

Sorry to say there is no hack for the Tosh, you need to have it chipped :(

There are 3 options ....

diy chip that has to be soldered in £20

diy kit that requires no soldering £50 with £10 back on return of tool - A DVD Chips UK EXCLUSIVE !!

fitted "no solder" upgrade ... send the player and a cheque for £50 and this pays for the upgrade and return carriage .. you will of course have to pay to get the player to us !!

Ive recently purchased one of these machines already multi region, what the shop told me is that a laptop is pluged in to the machine and chip is preprogrammed. This maybe right it maybe wrong. Im certain someone out there could let us know.

Of course that is true .. that is the other option I didnt mention as the lead and software is £300 and the update tool does exactly the same job but without a PC and on a on use basis

If you paid £300 more fool you the genuine toshiba updater kit is only £32 + VAT

As for the lead its a bog standard cross over com lead nothing special.

Take the top off plug in the uploader run the software put the lid back on job done less than five minuits

Is that why you are on modshack saying you've got all the bits to do DVD players (Panasonic, Toshiba, Pioneer etc) ;) They don't really like traders there you know.

Assuming you are the same 'regionone' then do you think you should also mention you are a competitor.

Just do it as a slide line just like doing the playstations no different.

Mod DVD for a livin but not as a trader, if you don`t wont the mods cheaper than anywhere else say so

If I started posting hex files gonna be a lot of upset "traders" jumpin up and down gettin me kick off

Thought these forums were to help people not sit back a watch them get ripped off.

So you work for a company who mods players, then you do it on the side as well? I take it they don't know?
