4x (or 8x) Verbatim Printable DVD-r..?

Does anyone know where I can get these from? It seems to be 16x everywhere now but they dont seem to be as reliable for playback in dvd players as the 8 or 4x.......

I'd really like the 4x (white printable) but will get the 8x if i have no other choice... anyone know where i could pick some up?

No...you're right though, svp (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump2.php?url=http://svp.co.uk/) don't seem to stock the x8 anymore (verbatim) which is a shame, as since I've been forced to purchase the x16, I've had a hell of a lot of coasters, hardly got any on x8 Discs :(

ive tried burning 16x at 1 and they still arent half as relaible in dvd players as the 8x... im assuming the 4x would be even better if i could find any!

The 8x Verbs went out of production about 6 months ago. Really really hard to find now:(

The good news is that the 16x Verbs are excellent and are backward compatible with most hardware.

We do have 2 DVD-R in stock that were built as 4x discs. we try to keep them available as long as we can find stock for just this sort of issue.

i just want to find the most reliable disks out there... getting a bargain deal isnt half as important as making sure that the disks will play back on almost all dvd players (like the 8x verbatim did but the 16x didnt)

what are the best options?
