Great! I wonder how good the 5.1 will sound? :)

Just got this, and I'm glad they're starting to hype it now - hopefully it'll mean that the finished product will be as good as we're all hoping. The trailer was very good - shame there were no pack shots, but hey, we can wait...

2 and 1/2 minute download.....some things just take too long :-(

Pretty trailer though.....can't remember 1 or 2 bits in it.
Says it's 7 discs, with over 2 hours of bonus footage and due out in March 2002 c/o Paramount.

I've just had a quick look at www.dvd.co.uk who claim that the UK RRP is £90! Ninety quid! They must be kidding if they think anyone will pay this retail... works out at £630 for the entire set of boxes.

R1 or R4 here we come - worth betting that it's about $90 in the US.... unless anyone knows different?

I can see what you are saying, no one in their right mind is going to £90 for one box set, thats Paramount being their typical greddy selves, actually dvd.co.uk (http://www.dvd.co.uk/product.asp?id=PHE8131) are selling them for £69.99 which is a bit better. But no doubt if you search around the online websites you might be able to find them cheaper.

As much as I would like this, I'll think waiting might be a better idea to see if any good deals come down the line, cause you can guarantee Paramount will screw as much money out of this as possible..............

I'm waiting to see what ********* and Play (R1) have to offer... can't find anyone listing it in the US yet (www.dvdpricesearch.com comes up with nothing) so there's no clues...

The thing with Paramount boxes, though - look at how little you can get The Godfather box for now in the sales...

Paramount have NOT decided on the RRP yet. Some reports say it might be lower than expected.
