I received during the week a copy of the Moulin Rouge 2 disc DVD from dvdimport.com. I have now played it twice and each time a few strange things happen. A few times during the film the picture format cahnges from 2.35 to something even thinner and at the same time the subtitles vanish. This is only for a few seconds but annoying none the less. The more annoying problem is that after the layer change in chapter 20 the player has a problem reading the sound track ie it will drop the DTS or DD 5.1 channel and revert to DS 2.0 for a few seconds as well as it can have problems reading the video track.
I have tried it on another player and the samne problem occurs. I have several R1 DVD's and they all work fine both before and after playing the Moulin Rouge disc ie the player is fine. Has anyone experienced anything similar?
