Yay! I might consider getting this now! :)
I got the 'pilot' disc (as it's a superb film regardless) but no way was I getting that 'ultimate' "best of" collection (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump2.php?url=http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0000C0CHF/thedvdforums-20) when there was the tiniest chance of season sets being released!
With this and the now complete Wonder Woman releases my nostalgic recapturing-what-it-was-like-to-be-six-years-old-again-Saturday-evenings can be complete! :dork: :help:

Although, I'm hearing reports that the season sets won't include episodes previously released on the R1 'Ultimate Collection' set.

Where from?
The previously seperately released pilot film with commentary will be included in Season 1 according to http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=5414 and http://www.kennethjohnson.us/HulkBox.html so why would they leave off any episode selections from the 'ultimate' set?

So as not to annoy fans that bought the Ultimate collection I guess.

Got the info from The Hulk forums, and an e-mail from Ken Johnson. Against his wishes obviously. The two part 'Death In The Family' will be absent from the S1 set. That's the episode that follows on from The Pilot.

Slightly annoying, but I bought the Ultimate collection anyway two years ago, being a fan and all.

I suppose it's possible they might change their minds if there are enough complaints.

Fantastic news about the complete Series' being released not so regarding the Ultimate set, how many episodes did that consist of?

18 eps on 6 Discs I think.

18 episodes doesn't sound so 'Ultimate' but it's not too many to hunt down, but 6 discs?!

They are 18 of the best as chosen by fans. It's not a definitive collection though, as a few of my favs are not on there.

They are 18 of the best as chosen by fans.I see. It's a costly set, I hope they do include them in the complete series sets. It's a bit farcical if they don't.

I can't believe it's going to happen anyway, and nothing is set in stone. Just wait and see I suppose.

Yeah, I can wait. I've got plenty of shows to keep me going in the meantime.
