Scrubs Season 3 - R4 DVD release missing extras?

Recently bought S3 on R4 (also have Seasons 1&2 on R4).

But I noticed there were no commentaries, gag reel, etc as there were on the previous seasons.

TV Shows On DVD state that commentaries, etc will be available on the R1 release (in May) - http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=5079

It was a bit bare bones wasn't it? there were quite a few extras, mostly interviews, on the final disc, so we got to see some cute doggies awwww. I watched the whole season in about 2 days as well. I'm sure the episodes are getting shorter....

It's the price you pay for an earlier release. The R2 release of the first season of Battlestar Galactica suffered a similar fate.

There aren't any commentaries on the R2 either. Can't recall a gag reel either but im not sure about that one.

For the first two seasons the extra features have been identical across the regions so I wouldnt be surprised if Region 1 is just as barebones.

R1 still has the commentries/extra extras listed - it wouldn't surprise me if it was better. I'm still waiting for it over the R2.

I know they are listed, I am just saying that I wouldnt be surprised if the R1 set was identical to the R2/4 but seeing as it is being released several months later I guess they could add afew more things but for just over £13 delivered I am not complaining about the R4 release.

I was considering switching my R1s for the R2/4s due to the speedier releases but glad I didn't now.

Still noted that the R1 S3 may lose the extras but I'll take the risk and wait till May. The commentaries aren't too bad and worth the wait.
