Recently I got a copy of the sixth sense.

When I play it on my wharfedale 750s I get 3" wide 1/2" high horizonal lines at the left and right hand side of the screen, there are a few of these lines starting from the top of the screen going all the way to the bottom...........

One lot of them flash white and the other green!

Is this a faulty DVD?? Someone mentioned that there may be "too" much information on the DVD for the 750s to Handle? is this correct?

Cheers

Andy

I had this problem with my old 750s, I bet your TV is set to Auto for the PAL/NTSC selection?
If you set it back to just PAL I think you'll find the bars go away. I can't remember if you have to set the player back to PAL, but I don't think you do, hope this helps.:D

Once the movie starts (i.e. over the opening logos) press Stop, wait until the default background image appears and then press Play. The movie should now play correctly...I can't remember if it messes up at the layer change too though...

Tried the NTSC/PAL thing suggested which didn't work!

But pressing stop then play once the movie has started does work!

There was no problem during layer change!!

Any ideas why it does this?????????????????????

Thanks anyway!!

Andy
