I'm starting to try and build on my feeble collection of Hitchcock discs (only 4 to date :() and believe some of the new R2 releases aren't in the OAR.
I don't want to buy films that aren't presented as the director intended so have been trying to find somewhere that lists what the aspect ratio should be.

So as the title suggests anyone know a decent source of this info? (I've tried IMDB but this doesn't seem to list them, nor do the books at Smiths, Waterstones etc.)

Cheers.

If you visit Imdb.com and click the 'Technical Specifications' link on the left hand side, you are given info such as the OAR, e.g. Saboteur - 1.37:1

Hitchcock's pretty straightforward - everything up to and including I Confess should be 4:3, Rear Window is 1.66:1, and I'm pretty sure all the post-1954 films are 1.85:1.
