My grandma's drains have become blocked over the weekend, and my dad's been relaying the difficulty in getting it sorted (and mainly the costs). I've now decided it would be a good idea to get myself covered in case this happens to me.

I live in the North West, so the local water board is United Utilities who want about £6 a month for their plumbing cover (£4000 cover for exterior work, £2000 for interior). Does anybody know of anything better/cheaper, and that may also extend to include central heating?

I know British Gas offer their cover, but at £21 a month for central heating and plumbing, it seems a little expensive to me...
