Hey guys

Right, got 3 assorted queries please:

Firstly, is there any way I can rid my machine of Windows Messenger totally. It signs me onto messenger everytime I turn on my computer and obviously I don't want it to do that. I've gone into Startup and de-selected it but it still loads up. I just want to wipe it off, and use MSN as and when I want. Help please!

With my iPod Shuffle, it ALWAYS sync to my computer. I've gone into the settings and checked for an option for it to not sync with my computer, but I swear it's not available.

We have a Belkin Cable Router for 2 laptops and 1 x big arse Tiny PC in our home. Can someone give an idiots guide for putting on a password so that no one else can access it, and hopefully it'll drop a little less too.

Cheers for any help! (And I thought I knew about computers...)

To remove Windows Messenger, just click Start -> Run, and enter the line

RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\inf\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

Assume you're using iTunes with your Shuffle. If so it's Edit > Preferences > iPod tab (iPod must be connected) > Music tab

There are 3 radio buttons, you want the option 'Manually manage songs and playlists'.
