Be quick, I think the offers change of Wednesday night though. A complete bargain considering it comes with a TFT and genuine copy of WinXP!

Do the usual by downgrading the warranty to 90-days C&R, etc.,

I assume it is on board graphics, and no slot for a graphics card of any type?

It's the usual drill with on-board graphics, no AGP slot, but a few spare PCI ones. On-board graphics would be more than okay for your general day to day use though.

As Taffy mentioned, it's basically on-board only (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump2.php?url=http://tracker.tradedoubler.com/click?p=702&a=60823&g=19472&url=http://landingstrip.dell.com/landingstripemea/ls.asp?CID=5212&LID=122756&DGC=AF&DGStor=DHS&DGSite=^^&DURL=http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/dimen_1100?c=uk&cs=ukdhs1&l=en&s=dhs&~page=2&~tab=specstab#tabtop) for this model. You need to go to the Dimension '5150' if you want proper expandability. Ignore the 5150c though as the compact case comes at a physical price in terms of upgradeability.

FWIW the Dell prices usually change at around 05:00 - 06:00ish on a Thursday morning. Sometimes also on Friday mornings.

no - the [included in price] one will be an old style ball mouse - the optical one is still a wheel mouse and definately worth upgrading to for free! I can only guess that dell "recommend" the older one so they can get rid of old stock......

The price has now gone up to £353, but it now includes 1GB ram instead of just 512MB, not quite as good, but still a good deal with the 17" lcd.

edit: heh, looks like it was 1024mb in the first place too, bugger :(

Didn't include the 1GB of RAM yesterday, so you're basically paying another £60 for the 512MB if you buy today.

They've dropped the free delivery offer and boosted the RAM - so you're loosing out I think the extra RAM would only be around £30 at most from other places
