Freezing with SKY while recording

i have a sky box that is freezing while I record another channel.
any ideas?

May be a software issue in the box.

I'd give sky a phone just to confirm the right software is installed

its been working for a while without any problems. Is it likely to be a software problem or could it be something a little more serious like a dodgy hard disk?
