Looks good. Although i've never seen any Evil Dead films they do look worth watching. I'm not too clued up on the DVDs either. Is this going to be the definitive version to get?

It's a great package with extras that match any previous release -however it's being released in a widescreen version. Cool, you might think, but this is a big about face for the director, who previously claimed the correct aspect ratio was 4:3 fullscreen as it was originally composed for a full frame video release. I've yet to see this film widescreen so I'm not sure which I'll prefer...

is ther gonna be a standard release without special packaging ?

Are Anchor Bay releasing this in the UK ?

Its mentioned at the end of the Show Reel on the Carnival of Souls DVD which came free with Total DVD.

I might be a sad git, but I would pay just for the case. It looks amazing and I don’t see how any real fan can do with out it.
