At Tesco (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump2.php?url=http://tracker.tradedoubler.com/pan/TrackerServlet?p=898&a=60823&g=19972) instore, no idea about online (link added to keep Mr B a happy chappy ;) ) they are doing a pick any of these 5 items for £5. I forget the other items, one was some Aunt Bessies Yorks Puddings and another was some McCains Micro Pizzas but the big thing for me was the Home Fries. Normally £1.50ish for a 1.5Kg bag.

One word.... Yum :)

I picked some up yesterday, also included in the offer were some Birdseye steamfresh veggies and some 100% cod fishfingers, looks like fishfingers, chips and veg for tea here for a while :D

I can barefly fit one of those bags in my freezer, let alone 5 :)

They are the best shop-bought oven fries I've ever had though. Very tasty! http://homepages.nildram.co.uk/~tennyson/al/forums/licklips.gif

I got an even better one in Tesco - I saw that deal, but the normal mccain oven chips were flashed at 2 for £3 on the packet so I bought them.... rang through without the discount at £3.98 so I complained to customer services and got my £3.98 back, so they were free :D

Homefries are nice, but are not a patch on Aunt Bessie's chips, which are the nicest oven chips - ever. I'm pretty certain that they are Buy One Get One Free at Tescos too...

Sorry to go slightly OT but Tesco's own Oven chips are superb. Taste like a real chip.

They are in a blue bag.
