And the question is...

Does this come immediately off the price which you pay to Curry's, or do you get it as a refund to your card through Egg?

Thanks!

James

Hi there James, I had an instant cashback on my egg card, so on my statement I had the entry from Currys then straight after it my cashback, hope this helps. So effectively it is like a discount.

Has anyone had the instant cashback and then cancelled the original transaction and had a refund from currys? Im assuming they are clever enough to take back the instant cashback? Ive been waiting 2 weeks for a refund from them and still no sign. Im a little miffed at getting charged half a months interest on this but would let it slip if this was covered by the cashback.

Im assuming they are clever enough to take back the instant cashback? I've been getting cashback from Egg for years and they have never once taken the money back after a refund. However that was before they started doing instant cashback so I'm not sure if they've sorted it.

I'll find out soon as I cancelled a Currys order and I'm just waiting for my refund (I did get my cashback).
