Yall,

I have a budget of about £700 but obviously the less I spend the more food I can feed my starving child! :D Looking for real VFM, any ideas?

I have seen this: 32" telly (http://www.bedirect.co.uk/details.asp?ID=1014)

I can't find specs for it on the web, save for a spanish site so prolly a grey import. Is virtual dolby better than Nicam Digital stereo? It also comes with a free video and it's black I think i'd like silver. (the moon on a stick would be nice also:p)

Does anyone have any experience of the -32W6VS or the 32W64NS?

Come on guys I have boobs I can't be expected to make a decision!

It looks...okay. I would say that you get what you pay for (my £2000+ Loewe Aconda is near perfect) but it doesn't look bad by a long way. Look around for ex-demo products and check out sites like www.toptenproducts.com where you can get a lot of info.

Hope this helps, Matt

For that money, I would hope so too! (Does it have a built-in kitchen sink? ;) )

Cru,

Can't really help on a decision as I always go for Panasonic TVs and so am baised. However if you do decide to go with Panny make sure the thnig is in stock, as with that fire that Panny had a few weeks ago I suspect there are bound to be some stock probs.

The man who delivered out 32" panny on Sat said the fire damaged just microwaves...

Got my JVC AV32WFT1 from Empire direct for £713.87 delivered. Superb television.

Also have a price promise:-

If you decide on the 32" JVC (or, indeed, ANY TV!) then do yourself a favour and have alook at:

www.storeplus.co.uk

who have the JVC for £712.99 delivered, BUT if you spend maybe 5-10 mins and sign-up (one online form to complete!) for your own storeplus internet store (it's completely FREE and hosted by storeplus) then you could actually get this TV for as little as £605!! Reason being Storeplus give you up to 75% of the profit margin back in the form of discount/commission on any sales/purchases made thro' your own free store! I honestly don't know why anyone buying any electrical goods wouldn't do this, 'cos it's free and there are no min. monthly purchasing requirements etc. In fact, I'm very surprised the management at DVDForums don't consider having their own store, as the prices are as good (usually better) than anywhere on the 'net and the commission structure is so much more generous than ANY other affiliate scheme I know of. :)

Did I tell u, u guys are the greatest!

Someone mentioned the words January sales and the fact that it won't be delivered b4 xmas anyhow and has got me stalling, perhaps the 28" will have to last a few more weeks!

Mental note: Drop the credit card on the floor, hands on your head and walk slowly away from the loaded bank account!:D

Hello Cruella,

I'm in exactly the same situation as you - £700 budget to buy the best widescreen TV.

Have not made the decision yet but I'm very tempted by the Philips 32PW6515 which Unbeatable are knocking out at out £647.96 plus delivery.

I'll be watching out for other helpful suggestions to your Q seeing as how it is the Q at the foremost of my thoughts (apart from feeding the family of course)

Hi Cruella - similar position to you (but with a hundred quid more) and I fancied the SONY KV 32FX65 32' WEGA TELEVISION from BOS at £849.

(

For this much cash you get a Sony - can't be bad) and I have seen this TV for over a grand elsewhere!
