The commercial went pretty fast and I couldn't see what sizes/numbers etc, but I'm totally there for the San Miguel. \o/

(I know there have been a few 2 crates for £16 threads but I haven't seen any San Miguel?)

Oh, and the offer ends on Monday.

Thanks for that  I'll have to have a look. [down to my last case of 24 which I got in Makro a few weeks ago for around the same price, from memory]

EDIT

It's my favourite beer at the moment, although I thought the 1 litre bottles as sold by the likes of Tesco (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump.php?url=http://tracker.tradedoubler.com/pan/TrackerServlet^QS^p=898^QA^a=60823^QA^g=19972) instore tastes a lot better than the smaller 330cl bottles :suspect:

Happy memories of being in Spanish holiday places getting 6 of the 1L beauties for £2

I know what you mean about the taste difference between the 1L and the 330cl ones - they aint the same!

The 1L bottles in my local Bargain Booze are different to the 330ml jobbies in that they are imported and only 4.5% as opposed to 5.2% (?) and brewed in Luton ! That's why they taste different !

There you go. You prefer the weaker version. Girls! ;-)

That's because the cans & little bottle's aren't REALLY San Miguel - they are brewed in the UK - same goes for Stells

I'm a real beer snob & as far as I'm concerned if it's foreign it's imported, if it's brewed here it's domestic.

Got my stack of Becks in the garage a while back. They were also 2 * 20 bottle cases for £16. Ordered myself 10 cases for Crimbo and got free delivery cause it was over £80 and then used a voucher I found on the web for £10 off.

Was just a little worried that they might substitute it for some rubbish like carling but they came good and its lovely and chilled waiting to be drunk.

Has anyone taken up this 2-for-£16 offer? It's nowhere to be seen in two local Sainsburys, so I wonder if it's regional?

Originally the 2 for £16 offer was advertised upto last tuesday. Then on-line & in my local it was extended for a further week.
