I've just won an auction on Ebay for this CPU.

However the FSB was listed as 333Mhz although I thought it was 400Mhz.

I'm a bit reluctant to see the deal through but the seller now ensures me the FSB is infact 400Mhz.

Do all XP 3200+ CPU's have a FSB of 400Mhz?

Some did some didn't as far as I can remember.

It may be OK but then it may be a counterfeit as there are a fair few going around at the moment (even being sold by some big names - have recieved 4 dodgy ones in the last few weeks, and may be naming and shaming the supplier on here depending on how they choose to deal us).

Interesting. How could you tell if they were legit or not?

There are two types of FSB for this processor,
333 and 400.
looking at the manufacturer code its ends with
4D: for a 333 FSB
4E: for a 400 FSB.

so just make sure.
you can be sold fakes aswell. that are 2500+ OC to 3200+.
