View Full Version : Best place for bedding
I am looking to get some new bedding this month and was wondering the best place to get some cotton bedding, in terms of vaue for money.
I am no expert but I think I am looking for 200 thread count egyptian cotton duvet and pillow cases.
Debenhams always seem to have a good selection. I would definately wait for the sales though as they could well be half price. House of Fraser has nice stuff to, but I think Debehams are a bit cheaper and still good value. I have also picked up some Ralph Lauren Egyptian cotton stuff before from TK Maxx, sheets were only about a tenner.
As Coolio say, it will all be very cheap next month!
Try Dunelm Mills or any other big soft furnishings place. Not necessarily cheaper, but often are for the same items, but they have a large range.
Also check online with places like the Egyptian Cotton Store, who have things like 550 thread count (posh hotel quality) & even the catalogue sites perhaps.
Cheers for the replies guys. Does anyone know what the quality/availablity is like at TK Maxx / Matalan?
Dunno about Matalan because that is mainly their stuff. Would probably stick to Debenhams or House of Fraser. TK Maxx is a store that sells other peoples stuff and they have quite a good selection of sheets, etc, and as I've said some usually expensive, like Ralph Lauren, FCUK, and another one that I cannot remember. But they are about 60% off RRP. It's not all egyptian cotton but still high end stuff, but you need to have a good rummage in there.
If you after something very specific like a duvet set that is a certain shade and pattern Debehams, John Lewis and House of Fraser are probably your best bet.
