I assume that this has been done to death already, but I've been out of work for the last couple of months so I've had to kurb my DVD-buying addiction and I'm a little out of touch. Apologies.

Anyway, could anyone tell me if there are there any substantial differences between the R1 and R2 releases of The Simpsons season one box, seeing as Play are carrying the former for 17 quid and the latter for over 30? Oh, and is there an R4 I should be worrying about?

Cheers,

Cougar.

I don't seem to recall any great differences in the R1 and R2 boxsets, apart from the obvious, and outrageous price differential. R4 is pretty much the same as R2, although the price may well be slightly cheaper thanks to the favorable exchange rate.

if you want to get into aesthetics, the R2 box has a shinier coating than the R1 box.

wouldn't say it was worth 13 quid though

Draw all round mate - probably better from Region 1 though, for the price.

Incidentally, you can pick this version up for £14.00 at CD-WOW. Bargain! :D
