Hi i think this may of been posted before but i was wondering, what the price and the cheapsest way of setting up speakers in my front room for full surround sound. I am only using the speakers on my tv at the moment, so im am really missing one.
Cheers

well the cheapest I would go would be about £300. That would be for an amp and a set of speakers.
If you go to Richer Sounds (http://www.richersounds.com/cgi-bin/search.cgi?load=frame) they have a good selection to choose from and they are almost always the cheapest place for this equipment
or you can go with an all in one setup like the digitheatre.

Alright cheers. I think i might buy one of those £99 setups. Dunno which one yet. Are they any good?
make sure it has what you need - amp and/or decoder.
If you have a dvd player with a built in decoder then you can buy a setup with just amp and speakers. If not (ie, your dvd player can output a dd/dts stream, or says is dd/dts compatible) you will need a decoder/amp/speaker combo.
Look at the back of the player and if theres a complete set of phonos (front, rear, center ...) then you have a built in decoder.
