But is it the uncut version, with "Billy`s Last Stand"??

I refer to the sequence with Billy confronting the Predator - where the alien appears and elects to fight Billy, knife to knife and eventually Billy`s death.

The time of release is some what of an unknown factor.These are the known releasedates,at least in the Scandinavian countries.Predator and Speed is hopefully
released in June next year.

Does anyone know whether the releases of MASH will be the originals or will they have the dreaded canned laughter that was added for the Sky-One broadcasts?

Having re-read the original post I realise that it refers to the movie and not the series, where as my question relates to the recently released series boxes.

Seem to recall the original sound track is there (not sure if the canned track is also an option).

I only bought the Predator DTS edition this time last year, and now an SE on the horizon. Will it never end?

There's supposed to be a Great Escape SE in the works too (according to an R4 site). Hope it's anamorphic this time.

Is anyone else sick of buying Predator? VHS, Laserdisc, Non-anamorphic DVD, Anamorphic dts DVD and now a ******** special edition. Why couldn’t they have done this on the previous release? Oh, that’s right I forgot. They enjoy screwing the customer.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that the Predator SE was for PAL R2, but not the UK ?

To be fair I've got the R1 DTS, but I'm delighted if they are putting one together with all those extras. I don't have a problem with a company re-releasing films if they either warn the customer beforehand (eg, Dogma) that there will be a better version 'coming soon' or give a decent time gap between them (say a couple of years). I'm a bit more peeved with Anchor Bay keep re-releasing 'limited' versions of DVDs, but they've got to make money, and if the demand is there then why should they not tkae advantage of it ? ;)

Isn't the above the film though? I thought it was the (inferior) TV-series that had the laughter, not Altman's film.

sorry to disappoint, but i think the scene of which you're reffering to is a myth; a fable.. i've heard a lot of talk about it, but i dont think it exists.. certainly not in the theatrical cut.

but i damn sure hope Predator SE R2 will not be the cut german TV version.. FOX would be insane to make the same "mistake" twice.
