Pulp Fiction R4 - the best version?

Is R4 the best version for PF? My bro-in-law has the R1 which isn't anything special. I have heard the R4 is a sp ed with anamorphic pic, extra scenes (deleted or inserted?) and tons of other stuff?
So, is this the ultimate version to go for or is there an extra special se ed out on R1 anytime soon?

You could be in for a VERY long wait!!, probably better to get the Miramax special edition to be released next year ;)

I've got the region 4 from ezydvd and it cost a little over £10.Definitley worth it.
