I've just set up my new mac and transferred all my apps and stuff across fine. However, I can now only open files in Photoshop through the File menu and Open..

If I double click a photoshop file in the finder or drop it onto the PS icon in the dock, it opens/switches to Photoshop but doesn't open the file, very strange

I'm using Photoshop CS and none of the other CS apps (Illustrator, InDesign) are having this problem..

Ideas, anyone?

When you open Photoshop do you get a message about missing library files or similar? We have this problem at work on a machine which is split into a number of partitions with PS on the main one - if we boot with any of the other partitions PS cannot find certain files it needs in the library of the current start-up disc. I think when you copied the apps across you also needed to copy these files. I think your best bet however would be to re-install PS from scratch.

This Photoshop problem appears on various macs where I work. A quick search revealed this Adobe techdoc (http://www.adobe.com/support/techdocs/329996.html)
