Auf Wiedersehen Pet on dvd

AWP series 1 is available on Carlton and Granada Ventures,I also read a customer review on Amazon that said it was the cut version (swearing and adult content removed) that was shown early evening on itv on release!-this seems very unlikely.Can anyone tell me which release is best and if it's worth getting on dvd at all,considering the sound and picture were quite poor to begin with.....Donkey ***** :dork:

Well recently got the complete series 1 from HMV for £25 and from the episodes i've watched i've not noticed any cuts for swearing but i'd have to double check to be 100%.

when it was shown cut,the whole of the brothel scene in the first episode was removed,plus tons of other stuff,can't believe it would be released like that.

It was going to be released cut, someone started a petition, cartlon listened, the dvds were released uncut.

I got the S1-3 boxset from WHSmiths For £24.99 (thanks Bargain Forum!) and I haven't noticed any cuts though will double check to be sure.
