Im looking for some advice regarding the best way to connect a PC to a TV in a different part of the house. (using it mainly to watch movies from the PC on the TV)

I used to connect my PC to my tv using a 10m S-Video out to scart adapter, which worked but suffered from quite a bit of degredation of picture quality.

But we have recently moved house, so this cable will no longer reach. Plus we are thinking about getting a new TV, so if we got a plasma or LCD we would be able to plug the TV in like a monitor, correct?

Anyway the pc is in a different room, about 11 metres away from where the tv will be. What i want is to be able to have movies play on the PC and show on the TV. I'd prefer to avoid cables all over the house if possible and i dont want to be fiddling about at the back of the pc everytime i want to swop between monitor and tv. Any advice on the best way to go about this, and what type of TV to get would be most appriciated.
