Joining the WiFi revolution...

I'm thinking of getting a wireless network set up at home and fancy buying a PDA or a small laptop for general surfing email and stuff like that... I'll use my other machines for the big stuff. Just fancy the luxury of sitting on the bog and surfing... Looking to buy something secondhand but am a little lost as what to go for? Anyone use anything like this at home any recommendations? Can PDAs display sites correctly, router recommendations etc.

Probably better in the Computing forum but as a general rule i'd suggest a cheap laptop for browsing rather than a PDA. Their screens just aren't large enough to properly render some sites and they don't seem to support all the Flash etc that many sites tend to use.
