There are no plans to release Raiders ever. Paramount's market research has proven categorically that no-one would ever want to buy this low-budget, no-name-starring, mis-firing waste of celluloid. After all, no-one ever saw it at the cinema or on video :D

Okay...so I'm joking...

I read somewhere recently (last couple of weeks - probably on The Digital Bits or DVDfile) that Paramount are working on the Indy films, but there are no timescales yet.

There's romours going around that it's due next year.

I would say since Lucas owns the rights it'll be a while before we see it on DVD as he's busy with Star Wars!

My guess is 2003, they want the Speilberg releases spread out a bit
