Find it at http://www.dvddebate.com/article.php?sid=2439

Only had a quick scan through, but it looks like we are indeed getting the ultra-violent director's cut. Off for a proper read of the review now:)

Looks good.
No mention of the 2 sequels though, I know they dont compete with the 1st, but it would still be nice to know about the quality of all the discs.

Looks that when this MGM boxset is released I'll be getting rid of my Criterion then to some idiot on EBay...

Yep sounds pretty good. Off to ebay with my criterion :)

I actually liked the second one, 3rd one was a skip load of cow dung though.

We are reviewing the discs one at a time, as we receive them...

But it is a definately a pretty cool release...

Do we at least know if the second is 16x9? The third is destined to spend it’s life looking at the underside of a coffee mug.

Will they all be uncut versions though? I know RoboCop will be but what about Robocop 2 which is cut by 40 seconds and Robocop 3 which is cut by three seconds.

Anyone know if they'll all be uncut?

If you look on the BBFC website (http://www.bbfc.co.uk) you'll see that previous cuts for Robocop 2 (http://www.bbfc.co.uk/website/Classified.nsf/ClassifiedWorks/7e1b546dee686cda80256af50031931d?OpenDocument&AutoFramed) and Robocop 3 (http://www.bbfc.co.uk/website/Classified.nsf/ClassifiedWorks/5171283b220a2dec80256af50031930c?OpenDocument&AutoFramed) have been waived. :)
