I have heard theres a Disc or a piece of hardware
that i can get that will let my playstation 2 play
eany DVD from eany region plus it will allso
play RCE discs.
If so ware can i get it and is it eany good
yes you can buy a cd called Region X (made my datel) which allows you to boot up dvds from any region.
You basically put disk in machine, let it boot up, choose region and then wait for tray to eject and put in your dvd.
You can either buy this or the action replay 2 (also made by Datel) cheat cartridge which has the region software included in it.
Yes it works with RCE disks also.
If you want to give it a test run you can buy a magazine called PSI2 which has a trial version of Region X on it. This will allow you five uses before it disables it (i've no idea how it does this though i've been trying to figure out how)
You can buy the full Region X from any highstreet store (like Game, Electronic Boutique) or online

BUT, you have to have aTV capable of decoding NTSC or all you will currently get from NTSC discs is a black and white picture.

HMV sell these for £20...
GAME/EB will not sell the Region X because it is against their 'R2' policy. BUT they du sell the Action Replay 2 v2.0  Play have the region x for 17.99 I think.

Action replay 2 v2 was much better than Region X for me. HMV seem to be selling an all in one kit with Region X, RGB scart and DVD remote, similar money to the AR2 on its own.
