sending $ money order - is bidpay ok?

I am purchasing something off an american website but they don't take paypal or online payments and have asked that i send a money order.

i checked with my bank and the post office and both cost £12 to send money orders to the US.

however, a bit of searching here and i see that some people have used bidpay and it is a little bit cheaper and faster.

am i right in thinking that if i use bidpay to send a money order, the company that i send it to will not have to pay any fees to cash it? is it fairly foolproof?

would appreciate a little bit of reassurance! thanks :thumbs:

Correct ... Bidpay effectively just sends the recipient a western union moneygram

Yep, I've used bidpay quite a few times and it seems to work well enough.
