I'm after one with good, fast, clear EPG (its for my elderly mother)

Here are ones I've looked at;

Philips DTR200 Freeview Set Top Box £49.99

Sony VTX-D800U Freeview Digital TV Set Top Box £78.98

Philips DTR320 Freeview with 2 Scart Sockets & 7 Day EPG £58.53

All help greatly appreciated.

I bought my brother a Matsui DT3 for christmas, £30 at Curry's. It seems pretty good to me, it works well with my weak signal and the teletext channels are nice and fast.

We've got the Sony at home and apart from some odd Channel 4 related quirks it's been faultless and is easy to set up and use. A friend had a Philips (don't know which) which was pretty odd and not at all intuitive to use, he's since bought a Humax I believe which is far better and has a search facility in the 7 day EPG which is quite handy.

Hasn't the Sony box got an aspect ratio bug that means some programs are forced to 14:9 letterbox when watching on a 4:3 t.v., instead of being displayed properly as 16:9 letterbox?
