I was wondering what sort of kit do I need to enable me to use an old 2.5" HDD from a laptop as a USB 2.0 or firewire drive? If it could be USB powered, that would be great. I've had a quick look at overclockers, but I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking for, and more importantly what the best make/model to go for is. thanks for any help you can offer :)
I've not actually updated my HDD yet, but plan to soon .... I'm presuming its relatively easy to change a HDD in a laptop?!?!?! :D

need a 2.5" caddy, can be had on ebay pretty cheap (sure i didnt pay more than a £5 for mine) then you can use it. Really easy to use, just stick the drive into the case and plug the usb leads in, doesnt need external power source like a 3.5" one, which is usefull.
