on ebay/yahoo, monsters inc(DVD) is for sale at £14.99 region 0
what would the quality be like, ts not on release yet anywhere, i don't think. do you think these would be bad copies and not worth the money.
Pirate copy :mad: and wouldn't touch! :mad:

Of course it's not going to be worth the money m8, you'll pay around £15 for the official DVD when it's released and the quality and quantity of extras on that will bury the pirate copy....I'd give 'em the price of the blank disc and a quid on top for there efforts. :p
Without going into too much detail, the quality will be the same as the version syou can download from newsgroups and the like. Which means not as good as VHS. £14.99? Hah.

Given that the DVD will 100% definitely be a direct-from-digital transfer, the quality difference will be even more enormous!

They actually did a side by side comparison of the film and a dvd bootleg copy on the big breakfast the other day. The sound is really weak and the colour is really washed out and dull. It's better to hold on the 8 weeks or so until the UK cinema release

I already watched this very version the weekend after it came out in the US. Dont have it anymore, didn't want to be tempted to watch it again before I go to watch it over here on the big screen. :)
Their is no laughing on it because the cinema is empty and the camera doesn't move an inch at all throughout. Picture is very good also (again i stress for a pirate) but definately not worth fifteen quid especially with it not being far off release (finally) over here. If you cant wait im sure you can pick it up on 2CD's for a couple of quid instead if you seek the cd-rom guide

....doubt you've seen a cam, probably a Screener.

The quality is very good for a pirate and like Spinning Plates said...the dvd is a Telesync version.
15 quid is a bit of a rip off ,,i saw another online Hong-Kong based supplier selling the dvd version for 6 quid including delivery

Its not even that good a film. Its not a patch on the Toy Storys, its much more soppy and child orientated i'd only reccommend it to those of us with kids.

In no way am I supportting piracy (I've never owned a pirate and never will), but a friend bought a copy of AI to mine, which his brother got in Thailand for £3. I was totally stunned by how good the quality was for a pirate.

There's a copy of Lord of the rings knocking about the office on ( at least ) 2 vcd's.
There damn fast these pirates.
