About to order some new cables and whilst looking have seen a 3 meter dedicated IXOS sub cable, is it worth getting one ??
i have that cable. 19quid. looks nice. personally i didnt try the sub with any other cable, so i cant compare its performance, but im happy enough with the ixos one.

Im presently using a cable which was for the sound out from my DVD player which cost £80 odd, however by chance of fate I ended up with a duplicate for free so its now on sub duty.
DO you think a dedicated cable would offer any benefit
I've tried several 2m cables ranging from £10 to £60 and to be honest, I couldn't hear any difference at all. I've a REL Q50 and a Yamaha 795 receiver.
dont bother with expensive.
bass frequencies are low and low mean low noise loss, in a laymen sort of way.
I have tried two, one that could usually carry upto 2ghz and one that came from radio shack that cost me a fiver.
I hear nathing. I have a meter set up aswell and it hears nathing.
So there you go. get yourself some bog stand ixos or something, save your money.
