View Full Version : Sony W550i - Walkman Swivel phone for £15 a month
Thought this was a bit of a steal.
1/2 price line rental on 02 for 12 months, plus double texts and minutes in the first 3 months.
standard of 200 minutes and 100 texts, works out at £15 a month which isn't too shabby at all.
Haven't seen the offer elsewhere (I think 02 200 goes for £25-30 elsewhere), so thought it might be of some interest??

The phone's a corker as well! Wooooo!

Just bought mine on Thursday from these guys, good service, but order online as they charge a tenner handling charge via phone.
Good spot there.
I've tried to avoid most of the internet companies offering cashback as my last contract was with Just 3G (www.just3g.co.uk) and I ended up taking them to the small claims court to get my cashback.
I've heard E2Save.com (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump.php?url=http://tracker.tradedoubler.com/click^QS^p=14992^QA^a=60823^QA^g=99367) are good with their cashback, as are carphone warehouse and the link -- hence i'm trying to aim for the "bigger companies" now--good idea??

I spoke to them on the phone before I ordered (until I found out about the extra tenner charge) to confirm stock and they where most helpful.
Oh and the phone is very good so far, could do with the W800's memory slot but I have a HD5 for my MP3s.
Sorry Alan forgot the affilate links D'oh!
Ah, I see, I see.
Well put it this way, if you get any trouble you always have good ol' Money Back Online to help you out.
Hope it's all ok though ;) :p
got one from O2 Online (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump.php?url=http://www.tkqlhce.com/click-582776-10309950) for £19 as im rubbish at remmebering cashback time lines
How big is the memory for putting on music - and what type of memory does it take?
Cheers
It's only 270mb, which after pictures and so forth is about 200-220 mb, enough for about 3 albums worth which is fine for most peeps I'd imagine (I already have a dedicated minidisc player -- the one that plays the 1gig discs so stop laughing!)
The new W900 might be more down your street, however.
Not sure when it's launching but it has a massive 470 MB memory plus the all important expansion port which the W550i lacks.
