Hello all.
I had almost decided to by the Samsung 26" LCD for use as a monitor and for my XBOX 360 (if i get one.)
Now things have become complicated, i went to a friends house the other day, and yes you've guessed it, he wowed me with his projector, mutch to the missus'd dismay.
Now, the LCD is gonna cost about £650ish, what projector could I get for this money? I have seen a cracking deal on the Z3 with a free bulb voucher at about £850.
I have not got a clue about projectors, it would mainly be used in my bedroom to hook my console up, and maybe the PC/DVD player. The appeal of LCD was the HDTV element. What sort of quality will a projector give, are they HDTV?
The room I will use the projector in will mean that it will have to be mounted on the wall :gag: or placed into a corner. Can projectors project the image at an angle onto a wall and produce the image in the correct format etc?
The two rooms that the projector will be used probably will have a throw distance of 10-12 feet max.
Please can someone help, tis all too confusing.
