MP3 player problem

Hi,

I have just got a MP3 player and when I first connected it, it showed 512MB memory which was correct but now it only shows 119MB memory, how come it does not recognise the rest?

I am using Windows XP.

Is this when you right click the drive in Explorer, and select Properties?
