View Full Version : [PC] World rankings thread
Obviously, if you dont think this is a good idea then please ignore.
It may only be a bit of fun, but it's sometimes a laugh to see how your world ranking is. I thought it might be a good idea for us to post our world rankings at the end of each week (say Sunday night) in a thread specific for that week, and then i can collate them into the first post of this thread.
If interested, then post your ranking as it is now (Sunday / Monday night) and I'll collate them. From next week, we could do it on Sunday evening.
For this week, we'll make the cut off Monday evening.
LouBarlow - Points : 1756...................Ranking : 200
LittleFunk - Points : 868 .............................Ranking : 1087
C0ckeye - Points : 364..............................Ranking : 2941
i had a few points, then i played Matt.Wild and the game crashed. (not sure what happened, both parties game stopped and then said the opponent has disconnected) now i have 1 disconnect and 0 points!
ranking 1202309782309
Just can't put a run of wins together to get my rankings up
Doesn't matter how good it is surely? Can't be as bad as mine! If people post their rankings we can get an idea of how we are doing against other forum members.

Wow - Tequila only beat me 2-0!!!
Must get some play in tonight methinks!
Just remember that the Rankings mean sweet FA in the long term unless you plan on playing total strangers all the time.
The real kudos is in winning the DVD Forum leagues :D

The key to climbing the ladder is to play loads of games as long as you dont lose like 4 out of every 5 games you should slowly move up.
Of course it takes skill to get into the top divison :D
I played 24 games last night :suspect: :D
Culminating in me ending your 7 match win streak :D

I think that was my last defeat to date :suspect: - 2 breakaway goals out of 2 attacks - clinical finishing.

I played either matt or belly earlier i have around 1000 points he has around 800 i beat him 3-0 first i got 20 points............
the then beats me 1-0 and gets 60 points.........
FInally i playes someone else later withj more points and when i beat them i got 15 points. I i've won inthe past and got like 60)
Anyone know what sytsme there using i though it might be the ELO thingy but if i got 15 when beating someone higher then me i dont tehink there using that system.

If you play someone and win, you get that amount, if you play them again and win, straight away, you get less than half...about 20-odd I think.
You also get less points for winning on pens.

Also I Think Maybe You Get Penalised If You Plays The Same People Over .......
Hence If You Play Me 15 Times Before Then Win Against Me You Get 20 Points If You Have Never Played Say Prof Before Anf Beat Him You Get 6o Odd Points.
