View Full Version : Cheap dvd player, which one please
One of my workmates is looking to purchase his first dvd player.Which of the cheapies, ie £140 or under, should he go for?
If your mate lives near a Safeway tell him to grab the £100 Reoc A3, as featured in the new edition of What HiFi.
Multiregion, component out, silver finish, nice player : 5 star review (crap at CD playback - whaddya want, the moon on a stick :p )
Failing that :
Cyberhome ADL528 (WHSmith/RicherSounds £100)
Dansai 852 (Tesco Extra £100)
Sharp DV740H (TJ Hughes - not online £130 plus 3 free DVDs)

People with the Dansai 852 (me included) like it a lot since it is not only eay to make MR but can also be Macrovision disabled, picture and sound are good for a cheap player and it is good at CDs too . . . . . IMHO.
Cheers
