RULES - RYDER CUP 2005

Unrealnils and Matt.Wild are the captains.

Always use Lobby 6. It's where the cool dudes hang out.

"Home" ties should set up the room.
Settings:

ONE match only per tie.
Any international team
- 10 mins matches
- Player condition - Random
- Injuries - Yes
- Weather - fine
- No extra time
- No penalties


"Home" team has first choice on which country they use. "Away" team must pick a different country. (I don't want loads of Brazil vs Brazil games :| )
1 point for a win, half for draws. Winning team has most points at the end of the matches.

All matches to be played by Friday 10th November. If a match is not played due to someone not trying then the opposing captain chooses any opponent from the other team to match up. If this person also defaults then then the match is forfaited.
Usual rules about not taking it too seriously. I suggest you agree with the other party to play a warmup first if you have had lag issues in the passed. Usual disconnection rules apply - see previous tournament rules for these.

Yes. You can have whoever you want *but* if the home team has already chosen your team you MUST chose another team.


If you have been using Brazil I suggest you get practicing with another team as well.

:nuts: - you know its the truth. I'd be bored silly going France, Brazil, Argentina, England etc. Far better going a more workmanlike outfit BUT with a jewel in the crown player like Eto'o. Ukraine are another good example - superstar in the lineup but the rest of the team is lacking! :thumbs:

BT Broadband.

Do not get any problems at all with any other games, including 64 player BF2 and many, many player WoW. Only things plugged into the USB Ports when playing are the Thomson USM Modem and the Saitek Gamepad.

Used to have problems with PES4 as well.

Just totally ruins the game for me. Runs sweet in one player and two player (offline), but as soon as i go online, it's LagChester Rovers!!! :brickwall

Am not going to upgrade or change anything just for the one game, so if it is still Laggy for the 2 Ryder Cup Matches, then there will be a cheap copy of PES5 on the General Classifieds shortly.

Good game mate, my 1st competetive game and draw was a fair result once I'd weathered the Serbian storm in the 1st 10 mins.

Played loads of this game offline so need to give the online games a good runout but I really prefer PES 4. PES 4 just seemed so much sharper than 5.

I had an "issue" with my game against belly in our game (not lag something else), but although I moaned at him incessantly afterwards, I made sure he understood that I wasn't blaming it for the loss - I lost because he played better than me.

It seems SS thinks he would have won if it wasn't for a certain three letter word.

Rooney was on fire and I played probably the best I have ever played although Matt's keeper probably should have saved the second and third goals. I didn't understand the my keeper tho - he literally only saved 1 shot in the whole game (and PJG didn't miss the target either!) and that was to parry it back to his striker! :lol: For the remaing goals, my keeper either didn't move or dived lethagically after the ball had gone past him :doh:

Oddly, 2nd game, he played back as his normal self and I won. Very odd :D

It was an unbelivable game to be fair for englands strike force - I didn't actually play that bad (altho deserved to lose) and defended quite well. Problem was with Barthez - he just couldn't be bothered :shrug: :lol:

As I say, quite bizarrely I won the 2nd quite comfortably and my keeper made an effort. I think my keeper wasd paid off :mad: :cuckoo: :D

What agood game that was nervous opening halfe by both of us the ball just pinging around midfield :D

Luickly i was able to slot home a decnet shot by Ibrahimovic (my motm) and it set the game fro mthere just counter attacking each other. Moko came close and played well.

Luickly Larson scores a beaty of a left fotted poke becuase Moko equalises very coolely with Rooney by deftaing a few defenders to slot a home a conserlation goal :D
