Just thought I'd start this thread for those of us who will be buying from the high street.
Currently, I have ascertained that Woolworths (at least locally) will not be stocking the game at all.
Also, currently, Asda will have it maybe later today - possibly tomorrow morning.
Will keep an eye on GAME.

So looking to buy this form the highstreet today or tomorrow.
Anyone know of there returns policy (play?) ?? if the games unopened can i return it and get a stright refund ??

Yup.
Local independent is checking with head office at 1 o clock.
GAME is currently wavering. Confidentially, probably be selling around 4pm today.

Will pop into town around two and report back for people. If one GAMe sells it, then all will.
game are NOT doing ten pound trade in for PES4 like they did on console versions, but ARE doing a 25% extra trade in value for half term.
So they reckon it will be about a tenner, but cant confirm until PES5 is officially being sold.

does pro evo come sealed from play as i know some konami products dont come sealed........

Im not sure mate - if they send it unsealed then they should take it back in the same condition anyway I would have thought.

Well, I came home to find my copy from Play. Or so I thought. Its actually my copy from Gameplay that I cancelled a couple of days ago. So, what now?!?!

You have a responsibiliy to the Forums to open that sucker up and get online asap so you can report back on how it plays :thumbs:
It has got to be worth the return postage for sending back the Play one for the glory of the first official PC PES5 player on the forum

Its installing now. Although technically I'm still supposed to be working for a while yet...
Even Hull has 3 GAME stores, all within a few metres of each other. :nuts: That's where I'll be come 5pm.

According to my local GAME manager, Konami are so ****** at the console versions being released early that they are refusing to deliver copies to stores until friday morning.
This was also told to me by HMV who also had no stock.
This was around 4pm.
We will see........

from what i can gather there is going to be limited amounts everywhere why is this dont they expect it to do well
I understand now why Game strongly suggested I pre-order. They got hardly any!

JUST PLAYED FIRST ONLINE GAME game does seem a little slower. play's advantage better gives you more time. but over all thoughts on the game. this should b one hell of a season when it starts.i give it the :thumbs: :thumbs: up. got to go to work now

Went to GAME, wouldn't take trade in for PES4 despite telling me on the phone they would.
Went to Gamestation, they hadn't updated their systems and so couldn't sell it to me. Were also unbelievably rude. About to make official complaint.
Eventually had to get the last copy available from CHIPS, traded in but still had to pay 20 quid. Not happy.
Off to install game, and change pants for industrial strength sex-wee proof y-fronts!

So I paid an extra three quid, but I can play it. Quite happy with that thank you! :)

My game has come, but when i put it into my DVD drive it doesnt load up - when i go into explorer and click on my DVD drive it just doesnt respond :mad:

you have a problem then m8. that happened to me so i unistalled pes4 and tried again and it worked. worth a try

Eject the DVD drive tray and just blow into it - usually does the trick

When i put in another DVD game, like BF2 or Fm2006 it reads it fine and brings up the auto run. But its just not doing anything with this one :shrug:
