Great ensemble cast all of whom act their socks off, especially Gene Hackman, Luke Wilson and Gwyneth Paltrow. Very similar in style to Andersons previous film Rushmore - the story is divided into chapters as apposed to Rushmore's Acts, and music features strongly again. Very quirky and funny for the first half, a lot darker for the middle section. All in all a great film.

Excellent, I loved Rushmore and quite liked Bottle Rocket so I'm looking forward to this one.

A friend of mine was lucky enough to get free tickets to a preview in the Warner Village in Leicester Square. Not out here proper till March unfortunately.

I read (I think it was The Home Theater Forum) that Bottle Rocket as well as Royal Tenenbaums was getting the Criterion treatment.
