Guitarists-Digitech DF7?

Hey,

Im looking for a new distortion pedal and have heard that the digitech DF7 is pretty good. Has anyone got one, what do you think? Any suggestions as to an alternative perhaps?

Id ideally like a pedal with a small range of distortion sounds (like the DF7). What other effects do you guys like?

Never really liked the Digitech stuff myself, they've always sounded a bit too harsh and shrill to my ears.

I tend to favour the Boss range more. Although I did try out an old Mesa Boogie V-Twin pedal the other day and it was :luv: I guess it's more of a full blown preamp type thing though.
