Networking two PCs problem

Just bought a new Dell system - both Windows XP - networked them up using the Home Network Wizard. Worked perfectly the first night, ever since then the new PC does not seem to recognise any network. No matter how many times I run the Home Network Wizard!!!

Strangely enough, it still reads the broadband internet connection through my old PC.

Any ideas?

Not an expert on this, but my experience found that the network only works if the Internet connection is set up right. By this I mean, when you go through the wizard, you must make sure that you click the right button that says which computer has the internet connection.

Do you have just the 2 PCs? What do you mean by "my old PC"? Is that still present? If so, which PC is the internet connected to?

have u tried pinging both of the PC's ? are they in the same workgroup?
