Is there any software available that can be used to redial a phone number quicker than dialed manually?
I book busking pitches every tuesday and it's great if you get through at 9 but end up with rubbish ones anytime after about 10.30.
I have broadband using a router so I don't know how compatible anything might be.
I know there are US products available but don't know about the UK.

It would be easy if you have a standard 56k modem connected to your PC. Unsure how you'd do it using Broadband.

Modems are around £3.

You'd need an analog modem, your broadband router/modem can't dial.

I doubt it will dial faster than pressing redial on a phone, however with the right software I reckon it could detect busy, hangup, and redial quicker than doing it on a handset - as well as saving your finger. Can't recomend anything myself though.

If you had access to a telephone switch and multiple lines it'd be easier to get through. When I worked at a telecoms solutions provider the other devs and I programmed the switch to repeatedly dial a ticket hotline on 5 or so lines. :dork:
